Not only this but it is difficult to tell when a Gemini is under stress because you are always so active, as I've said. People are used to seeing you handling a number of different jobs at once and rushing about here, there and everywhere. But Gemini, why reject the need to stop for a short while and take in all that you're doing. Think about where you've been, where you are now and where you're heading in the future. What has that got to do with stress, you might wonder? Well Gemini, it's important that you know and feel that you are still in control of your life. YOu need to be in the driving seat, not just a passenger going wherever others are taking you. So, every now and again, stop for a while and get your bearings. Before talking about these 'breathing spaces' you must take for yourself, I'll just give you a few pointers to help you recognise when you're under stress. Generally ,people react to stress very differently, just as people can handle different levels of pressure before feeling as if they're not coping as well as they should be. Gemini, you have an active mind and you have many interests. This is good because your versatile personality does help you cope with a lot that other people would find difficult. At the same time, you do live on your nerves and there's a thin line dividing 'managing' and existing on 'reserve' energy. When under pressure, you might feel as if you can't sleep at night because your mind is endlessly chattering inside you. You can't sit still without thinking of all the things you SHOULD be doing. You might become careless or forgetful. You're restless, over-talkative, you might say things to people and then wish you'd kept your mouth closed.
Physically, Geminis might react to stress through constant coughs and colds, through smoking too much, nail biting and pains around the chest area. Although I think that these may be linked to your lungs.
Now Gemini, how might you relax that active mind and body of yours? Well, some light exercise wouldn't be a bad thing and this, you could find will be surprisingly relaxing. Your mind, however, could be trained to relax through meditation.
I haven't time to tell you too much about this here but you might want to look into it further. Meditate through sitting quietly on your own. Focus your mind on an object: a candle flame, a crystal, a favourite picture. Calm your mind and enjoy these quiet, peaceful moments. Do so, and this will help you recharge your batteries and combat stress.
