Stress affects people in different ways and because Leo is an active and hard working sign, it could be that in times of stress, you'll find you just can't switch off any more. So what is it that causes stress in a Leo? - Could it be that you've taken on more and more responsibility in the mistaken belief that this would bring you the security or material comfort you always dreamed of. - And maybe it has? - But now you may be realising that other areas in your life have suffered because of it. Or could it perhaps be that there's always something MORE you want, something new to strive towards. And in this striving to reach your aims and ambitions, you've forgotten what it is to relax. The hours seem to get shorter as you grow older, don't they? There aren't enough hours in a day and if anything has to take a back-seat, it's usually your leisure time. Leisure and pleasure go together and time-off is good for you, but more often than not, work and other commitments probably get in the way.
As you walk down the road of life, there will be moments to be proud of and moments too, of regret. But will it lead to regret to arrange time off for relaxation and recuperation? I doubt it. In fact Leo, when you feel the benefits this will bring, you'll probably wish you'd done so earlier.
What's the use in working yourself to exhaustion if you don't get to enjoy the results of your labour? Maybe there's some resentment because others are getting the benefits of your hard working efforts? Maybe you feel you've simply taken on too much and you've got yourself in a rut. But nothing is impossible and it's not impossible to change things so that life brings you more happiness.
Be grateful for the many gifts that are yours. Be happy to have people you love around you. Accept that others too are going through similar trials and tribulations. You've had so much to do and so much responsibility on your shoulders that you wonder whether you will ever be able to 'switch off and relax again'. You might worry that if you have nothing to occupy your mind, you'll go berserk. Well the only way to find out is to arrange time off. You must be the one who's in control. You must be the one who looks after yourself, for who else knows how you really feel. Make it a firm commitment to arrange a holiday, a few days off work purely for nothing more than relaxation and recuperation.
What you'll then find is that there are so many things in life you've been missing. Take a walk in the countryside or by the sea. Remind yourself that there's a whole world out there waiting to be explored.
Also Leo, how long has it been since you've had a really good laugh? When did you last enjoy yourself? It's so long isn't it, that you can hardly remember. Remember then, that there are so many different forms of relaxation. Things such as a long lie-in one morning or maybe a day away from your usual haunts when a change of scene can help you get life back into perspective. Or how about a walk in the country or even in the park. While laughter too, it's said, is the best medicine.
