Whether your recent luck with men has left you sweet or sour on relationships, women hoping to successfully spice up their love lives must be prepared with both tricks up their sleeves and treats to dole out if they hope to make it as a single. And as the year draws towards an end nothing combines these two strategies better than a racy Halloween costume.

Choose a costume that says something about you or that at least serves as a conversation starter. Some of the perennial head turners that never go out of style include:

1. She-Devil
You are beautiful, look good in red and are tempting indeed — so why not?

2. Nurse
No man can resist a woman who can take care of him and look good doing it.

3. Playboy Bunny
This one speaks for itself. Ask any man.

4. Dominatrix
Even when you are bad, you are good.

5. Elvira
If the mistress of the dark never goes unnoticed on Halloween, neither should you.

6. A Cat/Cat Burglar/Catwoman
Purrrfectly feminine, you may just take heavy petting to a whole new level.

7. Witches & Pixies
A little magic never hurts in a relationship. Believe in it and he may as well.

8. Belly Dancer
Exotic and erotic. Before long you will have him dreaming of you.

9. Cheerleader
You might have been born in Scunthorpe, but why not go ‘American teen beauty queen’ on this one – it’ll do the trick of making you look, fresh, innocent and sexy.

10. French Maid
“Ooh la la!” Simply put, you will clean up in this.

Decide on an appropriate costume depending on the locale. We have all seen how embarrassing it can be when a colleague or family member takes a costume a little too far; so make sure you keep yourself in line. Shift your costume’s theme to something more cute than sexy for the office.

Also, never lose sight that your goal is to be seen in the most attractive light possible. Regardless of where you find yourself this Halloween, avoid any costumes that hide your identity, ones that rely heavily on gore, makeup or fake blood, and especially any that are unflattering to your figure. In the end, putting on your best face may be the difference between leaving a potential Mr. Right dreaming or screaming.
