The Science Of Getting Rich

19163005thbThe will is a powerful thing, and it has often been used wrongly throughout history. When we try to force our will on others physically or mentally, we are using our will in the wrong way. People who are unhappy tend to spend a lot of their time trying to control what is going on around them instead of looking inside to find the source of their unhappiness. The secret here is to work from the inside out, not the outside in. As you gain control of yourself, you find less need to gain control of the people and things around you. There are six principles to using your will properly:

1.

Don’t apply your willpower to anything outside of yourself as when we try to apply our will to things around us, we are forcing ourselves either mentally or physically on the things around us. To properly use our will, we must apply it to ourselves.

2.

You have no right to use your willpower upon other people. Using our will on others is not only dangerous, it’s wrong. No one can really know what is right for another person. By forcing our will on others, we often do more harm than good. By applying our will to ourselves, not only are we using it properly but we are more likely to get positive results.

3.

Hold yourself to the right course. When you know what to think and do, then use your will to compel yourself to think and do the right things. Our thoughts are what give birth to our actions. Once we know exactly what we want, then we’ll take the actions necessary to achieve those things. The important thing to remember here is to stay focused on what you want.

4.

The more steady and continuous your faith and purpose, the quicker you will get what you want. Faith is believing that you will get what you want. Purpose is the action behind it. Steady and continuous faith and purpose is keeping your focus on what you want and avoiding the things you don’t. This is one of the hardest things to do, but it is necessary to achieving what we want.

5.

Guard your thoughts. Your beliefs are formed by what you observe and think about. If you are constantly focused on negative things, you will continue to draw negative things into your life. It is called self-fulfilling prophecy. Focus on the things you want, and don’t think about the things you don’t. Don’t give an entrance into your life for bad things.

6.

Don’t waste your time studying things that will keep you from what you want. What you think about and what you study only expands. If you spend your time thinking about poverty, then you only increase poverty. The same applies to almost anything. Focus on the good. Read things that will uplift you, not bring you down. What you put into your mind will determine what comes out of it, and if you load it down with negative things, you will only produce negative things. Fill your mind up with good, and you will produce only good.
