Little Nutbrown Hare is trying to find an adequate expression of his love for Big Nutbrown Hare – ‘as high as I can reach’. But every way he stretches to show him, Big Nutbrown Hare can reach further. At last he thinks he has found it – ‘I love you right up to the moon’. Surely nothing could be further than that?
