ociety continues to embrace the cliché that men must be attracted to someone before they can develop an interest, while women must be interested in someone before they can develop an attraction.

Luckily, it’s not a universal rule. In fact, there’s no rule that

“How likely are you to date people if you don’t know what they look like?”

dictates how you become interested in someone—or who you will and won’t find attractive.

Love is blind… or is it?
So what happens when physical attraction is removed from the equation? For instance, when you meet someone online but for some reason can’t see his or her photo—would you still want to meet in person?

Statistics show that personal ads with photos receive seven times more responses than those without, raising the question, “How likely are you to date people if you don’t know what they look like?”
