The star of the HBO hit reveals why guys don’t like to commit, as well as a few of his own pickup tricks. Plus: the movie that makes him cry.

On Entourage, you play Vince, a hunky actor who has no trouble attracting the babes. What has the role taught you about picking up women in real life? |
Be honest. That is going to scare a lot of people away, but that’s okay. That song, “Honesty” by Billy Joel may be a corny, easy-listening song but it has a lot of wisdom to it. |
For the most part, your buddies on Entourage seem way more interested in no-strings-attached flings versus serious relationships. Think that’s true in real life as well? |
I think commitment is a societal entity rather than a natural one, at least in our species. We start to realize that we don’t really need marriage or the “ideal” family in order to survive and succeed. You see this with all these broken homes in society—marriages do not last forever. So men just want to be sure they are making the right decision before entering into a relationship. |
Are we going to see your character actually fall for someone this season? |
I believe that Vince is a very loving guy. And he will have love for one particular person this year. |
Do you have any passions other than acting? |
I’m in a band called The Honey Brothers. Our new album comes out soon. Plus, I have my own production company, Reckless Productions, and I work on short films and documentaries. |
What’s the fastest way a guy can impress someone he’s seeing? |
Any time you’re doing something creative, I think that’s really attractive. |
What’s the best date you’ve ever been on? |
I was with my ex-girlfriend and her daughters in Las Vegas, and we went to see the Cirque du Soleil show. |
 And your worst date? |
The ones that never happen ’cause she never showed up! |
 What’s your biggest turn-off? |
Insecurity. And bad breath of course! |
Do you have a favorite romantic movie? |
I bawled during The Notebook. So sad, so beautiful. |
 Any favorite makeout music? |
 Celine Dion. Just kidding. |

This interview took place at the Best Friends Lint Roller party in Hollywood, a charity that raises funds to rescue animals.
In order to spend time with Adrian, Hollywood-based entertainment journalist Susan L. Hornik would put up with listening to Celine Dion if she had to. |
