62. HSIAO KUO = Preponderance of the small

The sixty-second Hexagram represents the persistence of the small.

This Hexagram suggests the need for careful planning otherwise there will be a huge waste of energy. It's no use jumping into a situation feet first and then expecting help to fall out of the sky. That just doesn't happen. It is possible that you have big plans for the future but you must accept your limitations. There is a suggestion that your means are limited so this might not be the best time to undertake major ventures. Content yourself with smaller undertakings instead and try not to waste your time building castles in the air. Sometimes there is more happiness to be found in undertaking smaller tasks.
