CAPRICORN - December 22nd - January 20th
The key to your health and vitality is in the stars. First of all, let me tell you what the astro-guide says about a Capricorn's health: Capricorns have methodical and disciplined minds and they take a serious view of health. They're careful about most everything they do so are less liable than others to get themselves into silly scrapes or careless accidents. They lead busy lives and if convenient, regular exercise will play a part.

However, for the aspiring Capricorn, worldly ambitions must always come first. They like to join in with team sports but knee injuries will sometimes slow them down. Capricorns hardly ever complain about ill health and most of their problems will come with age. Stiff joints, rheumatism, bad circulation and bone disorders are the main ailments associated with their sign. Although they have a good sense of humour, Capricorns can be some of the world's worst worriers. Needless to say, a more positive outlook just has to rub off on their general health.

Surprisingly, although prone to various childhood illnesses, Capricorns seem to grow healthier with age. Much like their solid and dependable nature, they can generally rely on good health. Capricorns are graceful in appearance and they seldom need to worry about being overweight.

They are ambitious to the point of being a workaholic and they'll often stint on meals. But if ever they did happen to notice that their jeans were getting too tight on them, their determination would see to it that they soon shed those extra pounds.

With the Goat's sturdy constitution, their biggest health problem is their pessimistic nature. Often, they will give themselves up to doom and gloom, and depression will take its toll on their physical and mental well-being. Capricorns should aim to cultivate a more positive outlook on life. Other than this, the bones, teeth and joints are the most sensitive areas, so they should include calcium in their diet. Aerobic classes might help keep the joints supple.

Let's take a look now at the Capricorn's diet and those born under the tenth sign have simple tastes so far as food is concerned. Their appetites are good but given the choice between a prime roast with all the trimmings or an Indian, they'll go for the former. Their digestive systems protest against highly spiced foods and rich sauces. They generally have a lean build but if and when the need arises, they'll diligently count the calories.

As they usually enjoy robust good health anyway, the Capricorn's only real problem is a tendency to skip meals, especially when they're feeling depressed. They should therefore be sure to eat regularly, especially mid-morning and around five o'clock in the afternoon. They should also try to avoid 'junk' food as much as possible. If they do need to lose weight, they shouldn't attempt to crash diet. - The weight will only go straight back on again, and they'll feel more down than ever.

Capricorns should be sure to get plenty of the 'sunshine' vitamin D, vitamin B to keep up their energy level and dairy produce to provide calcium. Highly spiced food especially Indian and Mexican could help to lift that occasional cloud of depression that settles upon their shoulders. But more often, the Capricorn has simple tastes in eating.

Everyone likes a holiday but the chance of a break does not always come high on the Capricorn's list of priorities. They'll often go for ages without taking a vacation, mainly because their working and domestic commitments must come first.

At the same time, there's nothing so good for lifting the spirits than a short holiday and Capricorns would do well to enjoy a few quiet days in the country every now and again, to help revive their mind, body and spirit!
